Girl Scout Troop 80199 out of Holland Township, recently collected pet food for NJ AniMeals. NJ AniMeals is a local organization that collects pet food and litter for local people in need of assistance for feeding and taking care of their pets. This includes area low-income, shut-ins and disabled persons in need. They serve more than 40 households in Hunterdon and Warren counties.

In 2014, they became a program of Living For a Cause, a 501c3 dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people, animals and the planet we all share.

The Junior level girls (fourth grade) not only collected animal food, they also made catnip toys and tug-of-war toys for dogs. The girls chose this project as their Journey Service Project.
