Meanwhile, a release date for "Jessica Jones[1]" season 2 has yet to be announced.

"She's a mess. She's very traumatised and carries the world around with her", Ritter told the "Today[2] Show". She also talked about her childhood on a farm among Amish people who held livestock auctions, saying they somehow knew what "the best cow" was. The Marvel series doesn't shy away from the character's issues and explores everything about her that makes her human despite her superhuman abilities.

The first season of Netflix's[3] "Jessica Jones" ended with the main villain Kilgrave (David Tennant) being killed by the main character's own hands.

Because of this creative move, fans have one more reason to expect to see more of Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) in "Jessica Jones" season 2, as she is expected to embrace her superhero destiny in the comics as Hellcat.

Rosenberg revealed that Jessica will feel like destroying her psycho ex-boyfriend is a "life-changing experience". The show has a huge ensemble and showrunner Melissa Rosenberg plans to take advantage of that in the next season. "I think it's important that there be some balance", Rosenberg said.

Appearing on Today, Ritter shared that she doesn't have any idea on what the writers are doing for next season and she doesn't know what's in store for her character.

Stay tuned for more updates on Marvel TV series "Jessica Jones" season 2.

There's still no word on when "Jessica Jones" will be released.
